Not to throw off the recent theme of Irish world domination, but how are people liking the CoX Invention system? Is it affecting the builds you make and/or the progression of your alts?

I like it fine, although it’s mostly just a tweaking of the enhancement system (aside from the costume pieces), and so hasn’t redefined my characters in any noticeable way. It’s fluff, but it’s fun fluff. Also I’m a big fan of the auction house system — polished and fun to use.

I’m no good at all with it. I don’t mean to “hate” on the crafting systems in general, but I’m just not a huge fan of it. It’s a little weird though because in UO, I enjoyed it. ::shrug::
