Grinning Ghoul The Grinning Ghoul (Tech Stalker, Claws/Energy), an insane criminal genius, wears a costume rigged with technological gadgets of his own design. Among these are a set of retractable metal claws (his main weapon); cybermotors that enhance his agility and allow him to jump tremendous distances; and a stealth field generator which renders him invisible to the eye. The Ghoul conceals his face behind a green mask at all times, carefully hiding his identity even from his associates. He has only been captured once, by the renowned Leapin’ Lizard, and the Ghoul has consumed himself with revenge against the hero ever since.
Devastation DDevastation D (Natural Brute, SS/Invul), with his thin frame and casual dress, might appear to be nobody of note – an average office worker at an ordinary computer firm, perhaps.  But do not be tricked: this khaki-clad powerhouse is a one-man engine of destruction.  Possessed of astonishing strength and limitless energy, he has punched and pounded his way into the elite ranks of Infamy Unlimited.  Where did Devastation D’s powers come from?  The Grinning Ghoul has never asked.  He’s happy enough just having the guy around.
Omega InfernoOmega Inferno (Tech Corruptor, Fire/Fire), aka Cassius Norman, made his claim to criminal fame when he salvaged some abandoned Rikti equipment and knocked it together into a suit of battle armor. Thus equipped, he embarked on a crime spree in Paragon City and, like so many other villains, was arrested, imprisoned, freed and brought to the Rogue Isles. Having met the Grinning Ghoul during his prison stay, Omega Inferno became one of Infamy Unlimited’s earliest recruits.
Mind-GrinderMind-Grinder (Mutant Dominator, Mind/Psi) is a sadistic and arrogant man who uses the formidable might of his mind as a weapon. With a casual thought he can scramble the brains of his victims, stun them with crippling pain, or toss them through the air like rag dolls. His mental powers revealed themselves in late childhood, triggered by a head injury (whence his facial scar); but beyond this fact Mind-Grinder chooses to reveal nothing more about himself, not even his real name. Mind-Grinder first met the Grinning Ghoul in prison, where they gained respect for each other’s pitilessness. He now acts as the Ghoul’s right-hand man, and is also the chief interrogator of any captives brought to Infamy Central.
Jimmy Holden (Mastermind, Ninjas/Devices) is in most respects a very normal ten-year-old boy. What differentiates Jimmy from other boys is that, through some unknown force outside his control, ninjas are compelled to follow and protect him. At any given time, he is sure to be unwillingly accompanied by three or more of the stealthy assassins, ready to die for the boy or do anything else for him — except, apparently, leave him alone. Life is turbulent when ninjas are around, and somehow Jimmy found himself in the Rogue Isles. The Grinning Ghoul took him in as a ward of Infamy Unlimited, cynically keeping the boy around so as to make use of the shadow warriors who accompany him.
Inside LineThe Inside Line (Magic Brute, Dark/Energy) was at one time ordinary Minnesota football player Oskar Rasmussen. Abducted by minions of the Circle of Thorns, Oskar was subjected to unholy magical experiments. As part of the treatments performed on him, a mystical green gem was embedded in his chest. Although Oskar escaped from the Circle’s clutches, he remains charged with their sorcerous power, allowing him to manipulate energy and teleport between dimensions. He lives the criminal life now, with particular animosity toward the Circle.
Silver CoilThe Silver Coil (Natural Stalker, Ninja Blade/Ninjitsu) is one of the most promising new assassins in the criminal underworld. Unerringly lethal with a katana blade, thrillseeker Sheila Jacobson trained under some of the best fighting masters in the Far East to become the killer she is today. Eye makeup and a protective snakeskin-like outfit complete the picture of a terrifying, remorseless predator. The Silver Coil performs numerous “removals” for Infamy Unlimited, her continued loyalty bought with huge paychecks and interesting assignments.
Corporate AmericaCorporate America (Tech Stalker, Energy/Energy) embodies the “Ugly American” stereotype like no other, and Infamy Unlimited is thankful to have this corrupt profiteer in their corner. Dot-com millionaire Jason Burnitz, anxious to taste the superhero lifestyle, invested his e-fortune into technology firms, then secretly appropriated their hardware and experimental drugs for his own use. Discovering quickly that the heroic life was one of hard work and little profit, Burnitz decided to pursue crime instead. In this, Corporate America became a success story, ultimately leading him into a lucrative position with Infamy Unlimited.  Ah, the good life — there’s nothing like it!
Lazlo the Evil ClownLazlo the Evil Clown (Natural Corruptor, Assault Rifle/Devices) is an evil clown. Much more could be said about his past and his specific role in IU, but in general, he has the abilities you’d expect an evil clown to have, he talks the way you’d expect an evil clown to talk, and he does what you’d expect an evil clown to do. When asked why he would let such a loose cannon join Infamy Unlimited, the Grinning Ghoul cryptically replied, “It’s better to have the clown inside the tent throwing pies outside, than outside the tent throwing them in.”
EissturmEissturm (Science Dominator, Ice/Ice) is disturbing on a number of levels.  He is a product of Nazi late-war human experimentation, which in Eissturm’s case bore fruit in the form of superpowers.  He can trigger endothermic reactions with his mind, creating ice out of air moisture or chilling solid objects to the point of brittleness.  Infamy Unlimited recruited Eissturm some months ago, and while his performance has been admirable, we still know very little about him.  Common sense would indicate an elderly man beneath the costume, but Eissturm shows none of the physical frailty of a man his age.  [Grinning Ghoul Note: Cold-based powers retarding cellular aging process?  Try to obtain DNA sample.]
Cast Iron CarlCast Iron Carl (Science Brute, SS/Invul), aka Carl Stambersky, spent most of his life as no-account thug without much success or respect. His luck changed the day he helped out an Arachnos mole in Paragon City; in gratitude, Arachnos freed Carl from jail and brought him to the Rogue Isles. Agreeing to an experimental treatment, Carl had his body converted to solid living metal, making him tremendously strong and practically indestructible. Carl remains loyal to his Arachnos benefectors, but also affiliates with Infamy Unlimited on the side. He can usually be found bullying mobs of protestors in Cap au Diable and Sharkhead.
HellpyreHellpyre (Natural Dominator) has the power of control over flame. Growing up in a carnival, he spent much of his life covered in severe burns. Recently, thanks to his ill-earned funds and a trip to the Facemaker, Hellpyre has at last been healed of his scars and can live a normal life … should he so wish.
SilverfishThe Silverfish (Mutant Brute) is a failed humanoid-insect energy project created by one Dr. Messier.  After its creation, the Silverfish was released to fend for itself on the Rogue Isles, where its rapid growth, lightning-quick speed and unmatched strength enabled it to survive quite well.  It wasn’t long before the Grinning Ghoul discovered the beast and, achieving a degree of understanding with it, put its unique capabilities to the use of a fledgling Infamy Unlimited.  It now dwells inside the group’s headquarters, serving as a fearsome defense against enemies who might try to sneak into (or out of) the base.  How intelligent the Silverfish is, if it is intelligent at all, is still a hotly debated question.
